HI,
DD was pulling through her collection of Magic Tree House books when she came upon "Twister on Tuesday", which is set in the Prairie time period. She kept saying, "I'm freaking out here!" as she held mini Kirsten up to the book cover to compare her to Annie, the book character. The colors & style of her outfit are very familiar. So funny how everything we see suddenly looks like AG.
Here's a picture of the book cover...what do you think?

Wow, it definitely looks very similar! Thanks for showing us, I love seeing things like that.
I used to love those books, too.

That's uncanny and would almost have to be intentional. I wonder if they'll get in any trouble for it...?

I had the same thought Julie. I think it's too coincidental to not be on purpose. BTW, when do we get to see Kirtsen's latest adventure?

Wow, that is really freaky! It looks almost 100% the same as Kirsten's meet outfit!

HI,
I checked the illustrator's bio & he is not listed as having chldren. I had thought perhaps his dd had Kirsten. Maybe his wife collects AG's?
For those of you who love (or have kid's who love) Magic Tree House books, it is a HUGE hit at our house. DD owns all but three of the thirty something books. She is a little old for them (reading level wise) but wants to keep them "forever". I have been reading them to DS6 & he loves them too. They are too cute playing Jack & Annie together. My dh just built them a new playground & the upper deck is now The Magic Tree House. I painted a golden M on an old rug for them to use in the Tree House & they are going to paint some wooden blocks to look like books from the stories. My dh is impressed that ds is loving books so much because of this series. The kid's are going to write the author a letter this summer w/ book ideas & a thank you for all she has written so far.
